Aliaksandar Milinkevich has left us the strength and power to continue the struggle

In the Archcathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw, a farewell ceremony was held for Alexander Milinkevich. The ceremony was attended by the deputy head of the United Transitional Cabinet, head of the NAM, Pavel Latushka.

"These days I recall that when I was young, back in the 1990s, Alexander Milinkevich became deputy mayor of Grodno, and then, as a young Belarusian, I felt hope. Hope for change. Later, when he was a presidential candidate, I also felt hope. Today I asked myself — does that hope disappear with his death? No, it doesn't disappear. It remains. Such people leave us the strength and power to continue fighting for the realization of our shared hope, the one Alexander Uladzimiravich believed in — a free, democratic, independent Belarus",
