"Judge" of Gomel regional court Khoroshko Aleh (22.05.1977) pronounces politically motivated sentences to citizens who condemn the war against Ukraine, express their disagreement with Lukashenka's regime and violence by representatives of power structures.
Through its actions, it seriously violates human rights, undermines the rule of law, and puts pressure on civil society.
On February 8, 2023 Kharoshka Aleh sentenced the "railway guerrillas" from Mozyr:
Siarhei Plyashkun, 34-years old, was illegally sentenced to 16 years in a high-security penal colony;
Yury Selvich, 45-years old, was illegally sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony.
Earlier, "judge" Khoroshko passed unlawful sentences on the following political prisoners:
Evgeny Glushkov — 9 years in a reinforced regime colony;
Katerina Andreeva — 8 years and 3 months in a strict regime penal colony;
Oleg Kanavalov — 5 years in a strict regime penal colony;
Yury Trapachev — 4 years' imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony;
Vladimir Rabchenko — 2.5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony and a fine of 100 basic units;
Uladzislau Voyna — 2 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
Pavel Latushko, a representative of the Joint Transition Cabinet on the transfer of power and the head of the NAM, made a proposal to the EU countries and Ukraine to apply personal sanctions to Oleg Vladimirovich Khoroshko.
In the future, this "judge," as well as others who commit and contribute to the repression, will be held criminally liable.
