Sanctioned persons banned from entering EU countries
"Judges" on sanctions lists cannot enter EU countries. They may also be subject to financial restrictive measures. Their list will serve as grounds for prosecuting the included "judges" under universal jurisdiction and applying other sanctions to them.
Maxim Yuryevich Filatov
As a judge of the Lida City Court Maksim Filatau is responsible for numerous politically motivated rulings against peaceful demonstrators, including the sentence of 5 years in prison for Vitold Ashurko, who was recognized as a political prisoner and killed in Shklou colony on May 21, 2021.
Zapasnik Marina Sviatoslavovna
As deputy head of the Leninski District Court of Minsk, Marina Zapasnik is responsible for numerous politically motivated sentences against peaceful demonstrators, including sentences against activists Vladislav Zianevich, Olga Pavlova, Olga Klaskovskaya, Viktor Barushka, Sergei Ratkevich, Alexander Charvinsky, Andrei Khrenkov, Viktor Aktistau and the minor Maksim Babich. All the mentioned persons are recognized by human rights organizations as political prisoners.
Andrei Vatslavovich Grushko
As a "judge" of the Leninski District Court of Brest, Andrei Grushko is responsible for numerous politically motivated judicial decisions against peaceful demonstrators, including the sentencing of activists recognized as political prisoners by Belarusian human rights organizations, as well as minors.
These "judges" are responsible for serious violations of human rights and undermining the rule of law, as well as for the repression of civil society in Belarus.
