Sanctions for «Belarusian partisans»

The National Anti-Crisis Management handed over to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine a list of persons and organizations of Lukashenka's regime, actively supporting the Russian aggression against Ukraine, for imposition of national sanctions by the Ukrainian side. These candidates for inclusion in Ukraine's sanctions list were posted on the dedicated portal «War and Sanctions» on 15 August this year.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine has sent the published sanctions proposals to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine for further study and subsequent decision on the imposition of restrictive measures.

According to the NAM proposal, the preliminary sanctions list includes 24 regime judges involved in repressions against Belarusian citizens who expressed their support for Ukraine and opposed Russian aggression. The list also includes 15 propagandists of the regime, who are involved in inciting war, spreading lies and justifying Russian aggression.

In addition, other individuals and organizations associated with the so-called union state of Belarus and Russia, including those involved in the forced transfer of Ukrainian children, the standing committee of the union state, its members, as well as the TV and radio broadcasting organization of the union state, will also join the lists of candidates.

Pavel Latushka, Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet and Head of the National Anti-Crisis Management said:

— «The NAM team is in permanent contact with the Ukrainian side on issues of sanction pressure and responsibility. This interaction has intensified after our last visit to Kyiv.

The relevant lists of candidates for inclusion in the sanctions list will be further supplemented, expanded and passed to the Ukrainian side, as sanctions are one of the instruments of accountability for the committed crimes».
