Prospects for Belarusian business in Poland

Deputy Head of the Joint Transitional Cabinet, Head of the National Anti-Crisis Managment Pavel Latushka held a meeting with the Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship Development. The meeting was also attended by a representative of the Association for the Development of Entrepreneurship AIST Sergey Panfilov.


During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for relocation and organization of their business in Poland by Belarusian individual entrepreneurs and artisans. Proposals were made to provide information and infrastructure support to entrepreneurs from Belarus.


The Polish side spoke about the existing information support bureau for Belarusian and Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Poznan and the one planned to open in the near future in Olsztyn. Also, following the recent visit of Pavel Latushko to the Lubuskie Voivodeship, such an information and consultation center will be established in Gorzow Wielkopolski this autumn.


Sergey Panfilov announced a forum of Belarusian non-profit organizations in Poland dealing with business problems, planned this autumn, to which he invited representatives of the Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship Development.
