The Head of the NAM Pavel Latushka summarized the results of the legal conference in Nuremberg on the crimes of Lukashenka’s regime: the participants approved the Declaration of the conference. — The regime’s crimes have never been so massive as they began last summer — and are still continuing right this very minute. And they will not stop, I hope everyone understands this very well, until we stop them. Only our actions — of Belarusians, neighbors and all democratic countries in general — determine when crimes against humanity will stop in Belarus. It is in our power to stop it. We must step up international legal pressure on the regime. In all the areas that we have discussed today — and that we have indicated in the Declaration of the participants of today’s conference. It is the official international non-recognition of Aliaksandr Lukashenka and his government. It is the acceleration of already initiated and the initiation of new criminal cases under universal jurisdiction. It is the recognition of Lukashenka’s regime as a terrorist and adding him to the list of terrorists. It is the creation of an international ad hoc tribunal to investigate crimes against humanity committed in Belarus by the Lukashenko regime over all the years of its rule. Once again: it depends only on us how long Lukashenka’s criminals will continue terrorizing Belarus, as well as the whole of Europe. Let’s do everything to make the Belarusian people free and get rid of the terrorist threat in the center of Europe," said Pavel Latushka. The scale of repression in Belarus is unprecedented for the entire region. Lukashenka terrorizes the peaceful people. We have to raise the question of his responsibility at the International Criminal Court. He is a terrorist. And he will be brought to justice. The Museum of Free Belarus continues to accept items of museum significance from participants and witnesses of Belarusian protests to its fund Alexander Kanetsky, a 30-year-old historian from Minsk, donated to our museum an object that changed his personal life history. This is a rubber bullet that the guy was wounded with on the night of August 9−10, 2020. The bullet was handed over to Alexander as a terrible souvenir by a doctor from a military hospital. Alexander took her with him, leaving Belarus for forced emigration. Now he decided to transfer the bullet to the museum, as he believes that it can be a reminder of the dramatic events of August not only for him personally, but for all Belarusians. We still do not know the exact number of wounded and beaten peaceful Belarusians who took to the streets in August 2020 demanding to ensure the observance of their constitutional rights. But we will definitely find out about each case and about everyone who is responsible for it. On October 7, 2021, a meeting was held between the NAM lawyer Mikhail Kirilyuk and the managing partner of the famous Polish law firm "KOPEC & ZABOROWSKI" — Matey Zaborovsky The National Anti-Crisis Management and the law firm signed a cooperation agreement. I am deeply convinced that thanks to consistent and joint legal action, it will be possible to draw the attention of the international community to the actions of the Lukashenka regime and, as a result, force him to stop repressions against the citizens of Belarus," Matey Zaborovsky is convinced. Mikhail Kirilyuk has already handed over materials of victims of torture by representatives of the Lukashenka regime in Belarus in August 2020. The materials contain evidence of the involvement of specific officers of Lukashenka’s security forces in torture. — "We cannot just wait for the power to change in Belarus. If justice within the country does not work, we are obliged to use international mechanisms now. We at the NAM are proud that Belarusians will be assisted by one of the best law firms in Poland. The next step will be a legal conference in Nuremberg, where we will approve a plan that will bring justice to the criminals of the regime closer", — said Mikhail Kirilyuk after signing the agreement. The Bureau will help to submit new applications to the Polish prosecution authorities. Together we will seek to summon the suspects for interrogation to Poland. In case of refusal, the suspects will be put on the international wanted list and through Interpol. Also, the NAM and the Bureau will continue to jointly collect evidence of the presence of signs of terrorism in the actions of Lukashenka’s regime and will hand these documents over to the Polish authorities. We will seek official recognition of Aleksandr Lukashenka’s regime as terrorist.

At the meeting, Pavel Latushka presented an analysis of the internal political and regional situation around Belarus and announced the strategy for the democratic forces of Belarus, proposed by the NAM, for the near and medium term in the external direction. The following were announced as the most important tasks in the external direction: — non-recognition by democratic countries of Lukashenka and his government; — recognition of the Lukashenka regime as criminal and terrorist; — building up the pressure of sanctions; — counteraction to attempts to incorporate Belarus by Russia, the loss of the sovereignty and independence of our country. During his speech, Pavel Latushka stressed that the democratic forces of Belarus proceed from the importance of promoting in the EU a unified approach "No way back for Lukashenka" and the complete international isolation of the regime.

Head of the NAM Pavel Latushka called on the audience to sign a petition not to recognize Lukashenka and his government. This is the tool that will make Lukashenka a legal and political zero in the international arena. Pavel Latushka also called for the initiation of the procedure of international criminal prosecution against the dictator and his accomplices, informed about the resolution of the European Parliament, which reflects these approaches. Deputy of the Bundestag and member of the Defense Commission Alexander Miller in his speech spoke in favor of the need to bring Lukashenka to criminal responsibility in connection with the massive repressions against Belarusians, the act of terrorism for the forced landing of the Ryanair flight and the use of migrants in the hybrid war against the EU. He spoke in favor of Lukashenka’s staging before the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
